We bought this camera for a gift for our son- It is a very nice quality camera for the price. The only complaint I have is that it operates on batteries that are not rechargeable, and it did not state this in the features in the description. I have a Canon with rechargeable batteries and assumed this one was the same- I jut think the description should state this ,as it is an important consideration when choosing a camera. Otherewise it takes good quality digital pictures, with many built in options ,and nice software,for a very reasonable price.

This is a very good camera for the money.It's simple to operate.I was very impressed with the play back of the video. I was also impressed with the quality of pictures using the zoom.

this is a very easy camera to use, i am very happy, also buy your 8 mb chip here it cost way more any where else

This is our first digital camera. So far, only my husband has used it, but we're both very pleased with the pictures. Guess I'll have to order another for me. An identical one would be fine.

I read the reviews on several cameras before purchasing this one. I bought this one for my 10 yr old grandson for a BD gift.. We having been taking pictures together for 3 years. We took his new camera & my Sony on vacation. He was taking better pictures with his new camera than I could with my 10 yr old Sony. This is a great point & shoot. I did purchase an 8 GB memory card because it comes with a 128 MG.

The camera is good for the basics and I have no complaints on the quality. The only drawback is that the camera goes through batteries like candy. The first week it went through 2 sets. So now I have to take the batteries out and put back in when using. If you are willing to do that then the camera would rate higher.

I bought this camera as a gift to a friend who's approaching digital photo only now. I had the same camera a few years ago, and liked the ease of use and quality of pictures. I bought this camera a while back, and I loved it ever since. I took it to the coast with me recently and I took amazing pictures with it. The Zoom is awesome! I got this great picture of a bird we don't usually have in our area and I was quite a few feet away from it. I also got great shots of the tide pool and the creatures in it. I got a picture of a hermit crab, and you can really see the details on it!! If you're going to buy a camera buy this one!

Good Camera Good Price......it's easy to use. It has the features I wanted at a good price. I had it opened and working in minutes. My computer recognized the camera without installing the provided software.
