Customer Reviews
Before buying this camera, I had a Nikon Coolpix 10mp camera, and I LOVE the canon. It takes great, high quality pictures, and it takes pictures quickly, especially outside when taking pics of the kids and dogs. Inside, when the flash is necessary it takes a little more time. The only think I miss about the Nikon is the touch screen, but the Canon is easy to use and wonderful!
This camera turned out to be more than I anticipated. I am very pleased with the ease of use and the fine quality of the photos taken even in a poorly lighted environment.
I bought a Canon PowerShot for my Mother, and she like it so much we bought another Cannon PowerShot for our friend! It takes beautiful photo's and it's easy to use - and 12.1MP, AMAZING!!
This camera is very easy to use. I am very happy with my pictures. The camera is small enough to fit in a pocket.
I bought this camera to take with me on a trip to San Francisco. It took great pictures. I didn't try the video part. I kept it on "auto" because I am not very camera literate as far as making my own settings. However, if you're proficient in this area, you can set it up the way you want it. It has a nice zoom feature which brings images much closer. The closeup pictures seemed to be just as clear as regular distance. Moving images (like people walking) came out clear. I would recommend buying a larger memory card, because the one that comes with it is not quite big enough. It is small and lightweight and fit nicely in my small purse. I think it's a great little camera for the money. Oh, and be sure to take extra batteries, because they don't last very long (2 days) when taking a lot of pictures. But I think this is normal.
