We ordered this battery for our Canon digital camera because it was advertised as a Canon, and it is not. We also do not have a charger that fits this battery because of this.

I thought it was an actual Canon battery, not just a Canon compatible battery. It works in the camera, but it's oddly not quite the same size as the real canon battery and the grooves aren't thin enough to fit in the charger. It got totally stuck and we had to bang it out with a hammer. It was charged, but now I'm too scared to put it back in there so I don't think I'll be using it again.

The battery doesn't hold a charge. I take about 10 pictures and that's it. It will recharge quickly but then only ten pictures again.

This is perfect. I needed an extra battery and it is just what I ordered. I love buying from Overstock and am a regular customer.Would reccommend it to everyone.

In the very few weeks that I have used this battery, I have had to charge it several times. The charge does not last as long as the original Canon battery. It may be good to have as an emergency backup, but not as a reliable second battery to take on long sightseeing trips.

I haven't had the batteries very long, but they seem to last as long in my camera as the ones from Canon. I use two batteries at a time in the battery-grip and have had no problems. Good value compared to paying $50 apiece for the Canon batteries.

this is a great replacement battery at a fraction of the manufactor's cost. Holds a charge for at least 2 hours and you cannot beat the price. I bought 2 just for a sense of security, knowing that I can have one charged in my camera bag, knowing it will not die on me,when I needed to take that most important photo.

I do wedding photography and was always running low on battery before the end of the day. This spare battery, which fits my present charger, makes it possible for me to take pictures the whole day without having to stop and charge my only battery. I just had a wedding yesterday and it made things so much more carefree.

I am very pleased with this battery. For less than $10.00 it fits perfectly and seems to work well. Some previous reviews suggest that the battery did not fit well, I had no problems at all. It also comes with a cover to protect the terminals when not in use. I have not had a chance to try exhaust the battery yet, but worst case scenario for that price it makes a good back up battery.

They were sealed in what appeared factory plastic wrap and the one I tried to use charged just on my charger and worked good on the camera. The price was a lot better than I had found anywhere else
