I purchased the item in August of 2007, by December 2007, the card could not be read and I lost all the pictures that I had taken. Next time, I'll get the extended warrenty.

Works fine in my Nikon camera and HP laptop. However, I discovered it does not work in older cameras and laptops. Make sure your equipment can handle it before purchase.
