Features:

900 MHz transmitter sends audio signals without speaker wire.
Transmitter connects via 3.5mm audio cable to PCs, MP3 players, iPods, stereos and home theatre systems.
Speakers can be up to 150' away from the audio source, without line of sight limitations.
Speakers can either be battery powered (using 6C cell alkaline batteries per speaker not included) or, using the included AC adapters.

This is a great little system for the money. Comes with all kinds of adaptors, and is easy to set up. Works perfectly, with one exception: Even though an iPod will connect directly to it, it does not play for more than a few minutes unless the ipod is in it's dock (which must have an AV-out connector). Otherwise, it's perfect for a teenager's room.

We have some old wireless speakers and the sound quality from these are much better. Also, I am able to use the old speakers with the new transmitter so now I have 4 speakers! Like all wireless speakers, there tends to be interference at times so you have to determine the best location to avoid the static.

These wireless speakers were a snap to install. For me, I didn't have to read ANY directions. The quality is amazing. We hooked them up to a Sony XBR4 TV and they are by far superior than the regular sound from the TV. We will buy another set for our family room TV and stereo system to be used outdoors.

I just received these today and got them hooked up to my TV in about 5 minutes. They sound great! I don't want a whole home theater, only a good set of speakers so these are perfect for what I was looking for. I could do without the bright blue lights on the front of the speakers, but I will cover those with a little black tape. Thanks Overstock!
