SVGA cables can be very difficult to install due to the size of the HD15 connector. One alternative has been for installers to cut the connector off one end of the cable and then re-terminate once the cable is in place. The unique design of this Break-Apart SVGA cable allows an installer the ability to remove the HD15 connector and easily pull the cable through a conduit as small as 1 inch in diameter. Once the cable is through the conduit, plug the (#40247) pigtail into the cable and connect the video device. The cable construction is three coaxial cables plus three 26AWG twisted pair plus two 26AWG conductors. Thus, in most cases, video can be transmitted unamplified up to 100 feet and 150 feet with booster. Double shield and ferrites ensure noise-free signal transmission. This cable is ideal for a wide range of applications including offices, schools and home theater.
