I purchased this battery for only 10.99, but it does not match the picture and/or description. I checked to see if i can return it, but the return shipping price is as much as the battery. The battery does not require a wire for the camcorder to operate. So, if you are looking for one that requires a wire to operate your camcorder, this is not the one you would like to purchase. So I just kept the battery....

• How did the image on site compare with the actual product? The item is not the same as the picture. the batterey does not require a wire to operate the camcorder.

Although the battery works, it is very inconvenient and looks very ugly with the external wires sticking out. Why can't they improve the technology and remove the ugly cable. This is so ugly and inconvenient, I would not recommend anyone from buying this battery. I may need to go out and buy an original Sony replacement/backup battery.

Didnt work in my camera,like it claimed that it would. I had to return it. I have double checked to make sure I had the right battery before and after I bought it., it was supposed to work. When I tried to use it I got an error message on my camera saying "this battery will not work" . I wasted my time and had to pay a return shipping charge.

Super battery it works in my Sony 308 camcord super. The price was SUPER also. It is a little bit bigger then I thought but I will ajust to it. Not sure on how much time it alouds you to records.I will be gving it a work our at WDW in a few months

it is a great backup for my movie camera. haven't tryed to see just how long it will last. but it seems to be very strong. it is bigger than the regular battery, but it is not a problew when shooting movie or anything. i believe it will be an asset to the amount of video that i can shoot at one time.
