These little speakers are amazing. I ordered them for my desk at work. After trying them out I ordered a second speaker set for my home. I can't believe how loud it will get without any distortion. It folds up so small too. It's just about as portable as my ipod. Small design - big sound.

These speakers are the best little speaker system I ever saw perfect to just throw in my work bag and listen whenever I want. It uses very little power, my MP3 player needs the batteries replaced sooner than the speakers. Really a great value. I have recommended them to many people.

I have to say I was not sure if they would sound good. Boy! was I surprized, what a great sound. I am very pleased with my new speakers for my ipod. Great price for the very good value. I use it at work all the time now. They are easy to set up and it comes with everything you need except the batterys. It folds up every nicely and you can put away in your draw or carry them in your purse. Can be used anywhere. I am happy with it, you can't go wrong with this purchase.

I was pleased at how fast the player arrived. The player has a 'cool' look to it and my daughter is very happy with its performance. Well worth the money.

I purchased this for my son who drives a moving van that does not have a radio and he wanted something to play his MP3 in his truck. This is an excellent value for the price, easy to use and sounds very good.

I bought this to compare with Item#: 11402331 and surpise they were the same. The black unit has square plastic around the speakers but the speakers themselves, the audio cable, the USB cable, the controls are IDENTICAL. If you don't need white the black item will save you seven bucks and thus the 3 star value is relative.I first tried the unit using the supplied USB power cable and audio cable to my Dell 1525 laptop and the sound was significanly louder and clearer; which doesn't say much but the output was perfectly acceptable.I next used battery power and connected the audio to one of those "free" digital to analogue TV converter boxes. I connected the converter's video to a Sony DVD player and had a low power emergency TV for the next power outage. Again the TV sound was perfectly acceptable. Obviously these are not room filling speakers but they do a good job when used reasonably close up.. If you can live with black you can save a few bucks as the build quality and sound are IDENTICAL.

This is very compact, light-weight and easy to carry, and it's also very good value for the price. However, I was disappointed with the sound quality. If you only listen to pop music, maybe it's okay, but when I listen to classical music, I sort of regret that I bought this speaker...

THe speakers were weak in the base department. The system works with batteries or a USB plug in, making it very convenient. I can fit it in my briefcase. Great price, fast delivery.

I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas Present. She is able to unfold it and hook it up to her Sansa fuze easily. I did read a previous comment and new that the musical device would have to sit upside down in the holder due to the bottom connection.

I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He absolutely loves it! The only thing he wished it had is the ability to charge his ipod. This product is a great value!

I think this product is great. It's small, portable, it can get really loud for such small speakers, and there's barely noticeable distortion when on full power.But the only problems I have with this is that you would need a specific mp3 player where the headphone plug-in is on the top of the mp3 and not on the bottom. If not you would have to have your mp3 upside down on the stand. I bought this product for my car since my stereo doesn't work that well and also to take to the beach. With such a small aux cable i had to constantly tug the speakers so i can change the song which is slightly uncomfortable. Also the USB plug-in is on the top of the speakers. If you want these speakers to be powered and listen to music it can tangle and be a bit of a mess.I might sound whiney, but by no means am I trying to discourage you from buying it. If you have a 30gb+ ipod or an mp3 where the headphone jack is on top, then your fine. If you're looking for a speaker to take to the beach, park, or anywhere public and what a pretty nice sounding speaker that's loud... this is your choice. It's cheap, it works well, and it's pretty loud.

its cute and convenient....me and a few friends went camping 4 my b-day and we rocked out to it all night.......... i really like it......i would recommend it ....

When I got this it looked ones I had purchased before and had to take back they were made by another company I had gotten two and they did not work well , or at all , and lasted only a few days. They look flimsy but they are GREAT! I listen to my CDs in my car, and they are loud enough to hear over engine noise and wind coming through windows. I will purchase another just in case they stop making these for the price you can't beat it. I purchase from Overstock more and more Love it !!!

My daughter's truck was broken into twice and her in dash radio/cd player stolen both times. We decided that replacing the dashboard radio again was no longer a wise option. This portable speaker system was just the perfect alternative. She can pack it in her purse when leaving her vehicle and the sound is great. And it was a lot cheaper than replacing another radio!!!!
