The high school my 15 year old grandson attends issued an iPad 2 and a cloth cover to each student this year. I didn't think the cloth sleeve would protect his iPad adequately, so I looked at a lot of cases and read a lot of reviews. I decided to get this leather case and a clear screen protector for him. It is holding up very well. He has been carrying this case back and forth to school every day. It is firm and provides plenty of protection all the way around. He can put it in his backpack along with his books without worrying that his screen will be shattered. I inspected my grandson's leather case last night. I am very impressed with the quality of this case. It is holding up well and still looks brand new, even after being dragged back and forth, on the school bus every day, in a backpack, and carried to every class every day. I read several reviews for different cases that stated problems with stitching and some of them fell apart after being used for a short period of time, and some of the other cases were reviewed as being flimsy and of poor quality in general This leather case is very good quality and fits the iPad 2 perfectly. I love this ipad case. I bought another one for my husband, but I like this one more and it cost less. I love the leather look and soft suede on the inside, and am so happy that it is a guilt-free synthetic. It is soft and smooth like real leather, perhaps a little less supple, but close enough for me. I have used my ipad everyday for the last two months, with no signs of wear and tear on the case. The magnet on the cover powers the ipad down when closed to save energy -- a very nice feature. This looks and feels good. I love how luxurious it feels.

Feels and looks cheap. Kept it because it wasn't worth sending back at this price. If you're looking for something that feels nice in your hands, this is not it. For a basic case and if you do not care about look/feel, go for it.

I was totally amazed when I received the case b/c the quality was the as good as or better than one I looked at in a retail store for $70. You can't go wrong getting this case with Overstock.. Have 2 friends who ordered the same case after seeing mine......

This was priced way below what Apple and the local retailers wanted for similar products that are not half as nice. The leather is beautiful and soft...the inside is supple suede...has an elastic band to keep if from opening - swivel works great so you can look at screen in any direction...ipad just pops into clips and is good and snug....and the buttons and controls around the edges of the ipad are open and accessible in the case...I highly recommend this product- you won't be dissappointed.

For the price, one could not get a better product. After spending over $ 600 for iPAD2, why spend another $80/$100 for a case/protector. I would only recommend that the manufacturer does addtional colors (a medium blue, a dark red...).....
