I work as a Notary Signing Agent on a full time basis and this printer is just perfect! I do a lot of constant loan doc printing, around 4-5 reams of papers a day (both letter and legal-sized and this printer hits the sweet spots between dependability, affordability, and functionality. The dual-tray option automatically prints and sorts letter and legal-sized papers flawlessly. Printing is extremely fast for of what I need and I save a lot of money on toner. I'm going to purchase another one to make things even easier for on-the-fly printing.
We've been running this printer for 3 weeks with no problems. Set up was fast and easy with three computers on the network (2 on Win 8.1, 1 on Win10). The 2nd paper tray is great and simple to set the machine for paper size. 2 sided scanning from the ADF works well and having a legal sized flatbed is a plus. The low toner alarm showed up this week, which seems a bit early as we've printed ~1000 copies. I gently shook the toner cartridge and reset the toner counter and we are still printing just fine. You want to have a spare cartridge on hand, but you know that, right? Thus far nothing not to like about this printer.
Bought this printer a year ago and never had a problem. I absolutely love the fact that it holds two reams of paper. My last printer kept running out after a few print jobs. Not this one it keeps going for a while before you have to re-load it with paper. Also, I definitely recommend getting the model that includes the extra paper tray. You can get the one without the extra tray and it may be $*** less but I think the extra tray is well worth it. Lastly, make sure to get the extra capacity toner. It will last a very long time.
