I've been needing one of these for a while, and I looked through the reviews of a couple on overstock before deciding on this one. The windshield mount that came with my garmin worked at first, but then would always fall so I was using it just in my lap which was annoying. This works perfectly! It hasn't slid off my dashboard, even with sharp turns. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put my garmin directly in it or attach it with the windshield mount; I tried both ways and putting the GPS directly in the Nav-Mat worked the best for me. I'm going to be ordering more as gifts, and at this price, it's such an awesome value!

I searched long for a stand for my car so that the windshield would not have those marks on it when i took off the stand. When I saw the Nav-Mat, i recognized it from what my friend used, and bought it right away. The shipping to Sweden cost as much as the product itself, but it was worth it.Great product, great price, great site!Strongly recommend it to others.

First , it's perfect for holding my GPS with the holder I got with my Garmin 255WT, and it won't shift or slip! Even with sharp turns, or quick stops.Secondly, you won't have to use a permanent mount (sticky) on your dash, or have the GPS blocking your view on the windshield.Thirdly, you can use it in other vehicles without having to permanently affix or mount or hold the GPS in your hands. Every GPS owner should get one! I can loan out my entire set to a friend or relative. And it makes it super easy to remove when you leave the vehicle leaving no clue you even have a GPS.

My GPS would not stick to my dash. I had to put it in my cup holder which made it impossible to use. A friend suggested the bean bag mat. Solved the problem. This is great for a person who travels alone. It worked great during my recent trip to Florida.

My wide screen Tom-Tom can't be tilted back without causing it to become unattached. This is because of the heigth of the surrounding bag. This makes reading it on a tilted dash difficult.

I have a Garmin and the problem with buying this wasn't the dash mount itself - it is the Garmin stick-like thing with the ball on the end that snaps into the Garmin and suctions to the dash mount. It will stick for 1 hour or so, then the suction comes loose and it just falls off, usually on to the car floor.A few weeks after I bought this I bought a Friction Mount specifically made for Garmin GPS Receivers (Model 010-10908-00 SKU: 8231861) that was on sale at another retailer for about the same price and it's WAY BETTER. It NEVER falls off. Overstock.com has something similar called a Mini Friction Mount for Garmin Nuvi GPS you'd be much happier with if you have a Garmin.

I have purchased 2 of these as gifts and an additional one for myself. Amazing how it easily adheres to the dash of any make/model vehicle! Even turning corners the mat remains stable. No suction cup silhouette on windshield or dash to invite theft. I just grab the GPS & mat from the dash, store in the trunk and quickly return the GPS & mat to the dash when ready to use once again. No worry about theft! This is a fabulous value for the price and a quality product. Santa will be spreading many of these this Christmas!

This is meant for a GPS that has a mount- like a suction cup mount as the bottom inside of the donut is a hard plastic. My need was just for a cush 100% bean bag type apparatus as my GPS has no mount anymore, and it falls over inside of this one. I just need to bolster around it with a small bean bag type eye pillow or something so it stays upright. The product description was not clear as to whether the interior was cushy like i needed or plastic. It is plastic. But the thing does stay where you put it. Fits under the seat out of sight when out of the vehicle.

I just LOVE this dash mount. Bought it to use with my Garmin Nuvi 350. My Garmin snaps on easily and the mount stays in place even during an unexpected quick stop.
