Boardway 321KS-BK Mini Desktop Case

My original media case was nice looking one but too deep on the media cabinet, so ended up to this smaller case. It fitted right into the cabinet but the specs are totally outdated. It's power supply only good for motherboard up to Pentium 4 because power connectors were not sufficient enough for today's motherboard. Audio connector wasn't HD. Beleive it's made in the early 2000.

Bought this small case for a older Micro-ATX board I had. Plenty of room for the hard drive and CD-Rom. Nice case if you want to build a media center type PC. Only draw back is it does not come with and fans. The two blank fan spot's in the rear take two 60mm size fans. You will need them to keep your system cool. I had overheating problems without them.

Backplate with game stick cutout, marked "Venus" wasn't hard to replace. Two 60mm fan locations above it were marked but not cut out, a hole saw fixed that. Soldered a daisey-chain of SATA power connections into emply holes in the power supply circuit board, and a 6pin PCIe cable, both left overs from a modular power supply. "Chassis Intrusion" sensing switch (blue wire wrapped around white wire) fell off the top-center brace, but I don't need it. Overall happy with it, shirped frey St. Pat's Day in sturdy two-layered brown cardboard box..

I bought this to make a HTPC out of with a mini-atx board. It is a nice size for an entertainment center and laid out well. However, as soon as I opened the case, I noticed the reset switch was hanging in the case (the glue had failed?). I went on since you don't need that. After installation, I noticed the CD-ROM drawer doesn't close all the time (the door that covers the real cd-rom drive tray). Also, no manual/instructions whatsoever. It would have helped with the usb/audio/power switch plugs. Nice system for it's size, but cheaply built.
