VERIFIED PURCHASECompletely a wonderful purchase....no problems setting up. Worked as described and because it was refurbished, value was excellent. Very pleased with the fact that it plays Blu ray discs as well as other DVD media and therefore, not limited to only one type of DVD.

Not the prettiest
VERIFIED PURCHASENot the prettiest device on my shelf, but it works. Most devices have a flip-down cover over the buttons, but for the price I can't complain. I haven't tried out the DVD recorder yet, but VCR playback & DVD playback work fine. The DVD playback bookmarks the spot where you left off. When my old device died, I know I should have replaced it with a Blu-Ray player, but I still have VCR tapes I haven't converted to DVD yet.

VERIFIED PURCHASEDelivery time was great! But I really thought I was getting a blu-ray player; it isn't. So I tried watching regular DVD - the image was ok but I can't get the sound loud enough and, apparently, the player ran out of its charge - I wish there was some indication of the battery level.

VERIFIED PURCHASEThis was a Christmas gift, unfortunately the DVD was delivered with NO exterior box or wrapping and our daughter saw her DVD player before Christmas. I took away a star for bad mailing.
