Blackberry 8100/ 8100c Pearl Leather Swivel Case

The leather is very nice and the magnetic clip is easy to flip open and close. The biggest drawback is that you need to pull out the phone to see who is calling you if your phone is in the case and if you are on the phone and drop it, your phone is vulnerable to damage! Cases that have the belt clip as well as a design that allow for easy access to the keys while keeping the screen and rest of the phone protected make sense. This one is only a protector when you aren't actually using it unless you're on a headset. I don't want to have to unclip the thing and then pull out the phone just to see if I have mail or check the time! Lastly, hasn't it been said that magnets should not be kept next to cell phones or any kind of computer for that matter? The BlackBerry leather case closes by means of a magnetic flap, which I might add is a pretty strong magnet...so needless to say, maybe this wasn't the best choice of closure?

I love my Blackberry Pearl but its biggest drawback for me is its small size. This case however, solves that problem by providing a stylish leather case with a magnetized flap that holds the unit in place. The case is well made and I unconditionally recommend it. The price is a real value especially with my Club "O" discount and free shipping!

Attractive and nice case which does exactly what I want and need. Had occasion to drop it with my Blackberry installed on concrete the other day (from about waist high). The drop appeared to have no affect on my Blackberry. It does, however, appear like the case is a second as the strap that rides over the phone is sewed on slightly crooked. I would buy it again.

After reading some of the other reviews, I felt comfortable purchasing the blackberry case for my husband for Christmas. We both loved it's appearence and it seemed perfect at first. Then, after 5 days of use, the plastic clip broke so now he's unable to wear it. Not to mention...He was off for the holidays during that time so it's not like it was due to any strenious moving around or anything, just simply broke when cliping. Real disapointing, loved the leather case but what good is it really if you cant wear it?

I ordered this leather case and it works flawlessly. The swivel is critical because I work in an operating room. In the O.R. I bend over a lot and so a phone that can swivel to a horizontal position is key. quality of the case is very good. nothing fancy just durable protective leather.
