Blackberry
from Aurora, MN,  Dec 3, 2007

This phone is a great concept, but a terrible phone. It's it so incredibly slow in every operation you attempt. It is constantly resetting itself and moreover when not resetting you spend 3-4 minutes watching the hourglass spin. A simple phone call of text may take you 5 minutes to complete due to the phone resetting. I am horribly disappointed.

Solid working BlackBerry. Just needed a device to get me to the end of my contract. This filled the need just fine.

blackberry 7105t
from Bonner Springs, KS,  Feb 22, 2008

I bought this phone so I could synch up my calender between my phone and computer. The phone works awesome. I would recommend it to anyone who is just looking to synch up with their outlook calender and doesn't want to commit to a new contract with their cell phone company. I just had to put in my sim card from AT&T and I was ready to go. The phone's data software is designed for T-Mobile, so you will need to contact your carrier's technical support if you would like to configure it to another network other than T-Mobile.

Blackberry
 from OHio,  Dec 5, 2008

I agree. This is the Blackberry for NON tech persons. I admit my son helped me set-up the calendar. - I think he said he was "sync" my Blackberry to my online office calendar. All I know is that it works. Also, I am a pre-paid user. I was able to put my SIM card in this phone and I am still pre-paid. HOORAY. I like the phone. It arrived with the case, battery charger, and cord for sync to my LapTop.Thanks Overstock

Blackberry 7105T
from New York, NY,  Oct 22, 2008

Overall, I think the phone is a great buy. Some of the features could be a little better, but it does what it is supposed to do. It was easy to get started and I have no complaints. Will probably upgrade it down the line, but in the mean time I recommend it.

Good phone with mediocre PDA attributes
from Union, NJ,  May 11, 2008

I ordered this phone to use with T-mobile. The first phone I received was damaged, but I spoke to someone in customer service right away and they sent a new one over within two days! I am a student and always on the go, so I wanted a Blackberry mainly to store my personal data (calendar, tasks, address book) from Outlook. However, I didn't realize that the Desktop Manager software didn't come with the phone, so I had to find a website where I could download a version compatible with Windows Vista. The phone has pretty good audio quality, but the ring tones are limited; the same goes for the wallpaper selections and user interfaces. The phone charges pretty fast (within 1.5 hours). However, I still haven't figured out how to acess T-zones with the phone. I wish the phone had a camera option, and I am not sure how and/or if I can store personal pictures onto the device. Overall, I would give this phone 3 stars... it's not the most updated Blackberry verison out there, but it fits my needs for now.

Becareful with Refurbished Items....
from Atlanta, Ga,  Nov 11, 2007

The Blackberry that I have purchased here is obviously a refurbished item, otherwise it wouldn't have fallen a part. I have had this black berry once before and I have always liked the many features it has, however I have not had the best of luck with it lasting for a long time. I suppose the quality of the parts they use is not the best. This particular one I received the power adapter plug in fell out of the handset! You get what you pay for.

Blackberry 7105T - Sweet Deal
from San Diego, Ca,  Nov 5, 2007

This phone is a great deal...there are a few caveats that others have expressed that I think I can add to and clear up (in a sense). One, the manual can be found online. Two, the screen is apparently less likely to scratch than the original 7000 Blackberry's, but you have to be careful, it is still possible to scratch it. Three, in order to operate (outside of basic calls and SMS), you'll need to get the addtional Bakcberry package from your Phone Service Providor...for me that's T-Mobile, and it costs about $30 a month in order to use the office BES server we have to interface with my exhcange email account. That also includes unlimited internet. So, you pay regular voice and text rates, and THEN you pay for Blackberry services...so the bill is more than for a regular phone, but you can keep up with email with it...which while other phones try, Blackberry's are made for. Last thing to comment on is the typing...the SmartType stuff works pretty well...I think it is about as good as anyone has ever come out with...sure it's not 100% as nicec as a full QWERTY keyboard...but it's very close. I used to have a MOTO A630 fofr this very reason, I have adapted in the last coouple of weeks without a lot of issue.

 from Mass,  Oct 29, 2007

Phone works ok, have had a few dropped calls in specific area that were not problem area before. Even though it is unlocked, when I try to register it with ATT to get blackberry service it shows up as being registered to TMobile.

My First Black Berry 7105T
 from Iraq,  Oct 3, 2007

I had high expectations for this phone. I was expecting PDA. I have not had time to use all of the features as I am living and working in Iraq and the local cell provider does not offer services to truely test this device. Since I purchased a factory reconditioned I had to down load the users gude, but I find the phone's help helpful. Ask me in two months what I think.

Product looks professional. But dont forget it has a QWERTY keypad! No camera and cant send MMS. And Im still figuring how to send info thru USB like photos. Has a simple yet cool game on it. Good customer service makes a big difference though!
