After using this on my iphone the piece inside the charging port inside phone broke off. Now have to get new iphone because can no longer charge the phone. DO NOT BUY!!! I am out a phone because of this charger!

I bought several of these last year and they were very cheap and very good. They were a way better option than the OEM cords. They finally died after year of abuse so I went ahead and purchased more. unfortunately this new batch is a big dud. two out of the three chords broke within a month. I didn't even use them that heavily. if you sit and wiggle the wire then it will work periodically. However, it's very clear that these were simply not made well. sadly I'll have to look for another low-priced alternative.

I bought three of these USB cables one for my truck, office and extra in case I lose one. My co-worker was impressed with the value and the product that he ended up buying three of them for the same purpose. I can't be any more happier with this product.

what else can i say.. its a USB cord that works :) plus side is its black so it doesnt get dirty like the white one that comes with your ipod iphones

The plug makes intermittent contact with the phone unless you are very cautious about plugging it in very tightly. The plug that came with the iPhone works perfectly so there must be some tolerance issue in manufacturing. Without buying another one it would be impossible to determine if my problem is a one-off, or if the product design is lacking.

Bought this as a cheap backup for charging my iphone while away. After a few uses, the black tube is pulling away from the ends, exposing the wires underneath. For the price, though, it is definitely to be expected--and is still in working condition months later.
