Functional and most importantly, cheap
This product is a great deal and surprisingly well made for the price you pay. The retractable cable thingy is not in an enclosed case like most retractable cables, so it is somewhat unsightly but it is easy to repair if it jams.

This item is a life saver.
I keep one in my purse and one in the car. My car can't play my Touch IPOD so i connect my audio cable to my auxillary outlet in my car and attach my ipod......works great when I go out of town.
