The case is great. The cover is hinged and it has magnetic latches to keep it closed. The cove hinge lets you fold back the cover to take pictures

The leather case fits tight and secure
Very happy with this case, was happy to see the magnetic closure. I bought 3 of them for my teenage kids. The plain black case is my favorite.
