I have purchased several different brands of cassette adapters in a near-futile effort to obtain decent sound quality transmission from my Zune 120 GB MP3 device in the cassette player in my car. Most of the adapters only push sound through one stereo speaker and emit a high-pitched frequency under the music and between tracks. Before this one, i went through two with the XM stamp on them. there was a single, thin wire connecting the gold jack to the cassette case. i also had to crank the volume because the sound was so suppressed. Don't get that brand. While this one still emits a high-pitched frequency (it bothers me more than it bothers my dog), the sound is much truer and stronger than XM or other brands. The price is right and i got a two-pack -- one for each car. Perhaps buying a more expensive one with thicker wires (as in TWO ) would solve the frequency issue, but then again, it would be a drag to spenc $$ or $$ and encounter the same situation. Anyway, this is a really good adapter for practically no money. Yaaaay. Also, this particular cassette adapter might not be meant for music, since Kindle is an audio book thing and doesn't require the transmission of mega-track complex audio).
