  • I'm never disappointed with Overstock

    This is a great product! I've purchased 2 of them for my children. I really like the screen protector feature on the case. It keeps the itouch free of marks and damage. The accessory ports are easy to access too. I would recommend this product completely!

  • Hybrid Cases

    This case is great! I have four now and love them, they are like oterboxes but for ipods. They're great. I love that it has a hard cover case and a colorful case on top of the hard case. Unfortunately after a couple uses of opening and closing the case i broke the top of the hard cover case, although that was probably my fault, but i have nothing bad to say about these cases, i love them.

  • Black/ Blue Hybrid Case for Apple iPod Touch 4th G

    It is a very cheaply made product. The "hard" inner plastic part did not close securely around the ipod from the first day, and the see through plastic pieces of the product were already broken away from the rest of the case when we opened it. It has the feel of a cheap child's toy. I will return this item.

  • a good sturdy case for the i pod touch

    It's a really good sturdy case that will last. And if you drop your i pod it won't break or hurt the case. They come in really cool colors.

I could not find that this has any risk, this manufacturer has chosen to just put that on the product page. Here is what the manufacture sent me. To address your concerns, we have provided some background information on Proposition 65. In 1986, California voters approved the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act known as Proposition 65. The purpose of Proposition 65 is to ensure that people are informed about exposure to chemicals known by the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and/or other reproductive harm. A warning must be given unless a business demonstrates that the exposure it causes poses "no significant risk." With respect to carcinogens, the "no significant risk" level is defined as the level of exposure that would result in not more than one excess case of cancer in 100,000 individuals exposed to the chemical over a 70-year lifetime. In other words, if you are exposed to the carcinogens in question at this level every day for 70 years, you could have a 1 in 100000 chance of getting cancer as a result. With respect to reproductive toxicants, the "no observation effect" level is defined as the level of exposure which, even if multiplied by 1,000, will not produce birth defects or other reproductive harm. In other words, businesses are required to display a warning if their product may result in a level of exposure is below the "no observable effect level," divided by 1,000. According to the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment, “The fact that a product bears a Proposition 65 warning does not mean by itself that the product is unsafe.” They also explain Proposition 65 “ more as a ‘right to know’ law than a pure product safety law.” overstockcustomercare1 on Jan 11, 2013
