We had looked at the electronics stores for a HDMI cable and they started from about $40 for a short cable. This works perfectly and for the price, why buy elsewhere.

This cable has already quit working! I thought my cable box must have malfunctioned so I had the repair guy come to the house. He tested everything and even changed out the box for a new one. It still didn't work. He then switched connections to standard audio/video which worked fine.

I bought this to hook up to my PS3 to my plasma t.v. Great product for the price. Does just the same that my $90 one does. No difference. can't really beat the price. Goes to show you how much you really pay for a name.

I used this cable to connect my PS3 to my Sony Bravia and it looked great for sound and video! My bro in law used his on a PS3 to Samsung Plasma and looked the same as his Monster cable he bought for $130. This cable is a STEAL!! He wish he kept his receipt to return the Monster cable!

I am very satisfied with this cable. I bought it to connect my PS3 to my Samsung 40" LCD TV. I had noticeable improvements in visuals for both DVDs played in the PS3 and PS3 games. Among the most noticeable: 1. I played King Kong on DVD, the T-Rex fight scene in particular, first with the standard component cables and then with the new HDMI cable. There was a pronounced improvement with the HDMI cable in regard to dark scenes and blacks. There was definitely more detail and sharper edges with the HDMI cable. 2. Throwing NBA '08 into the PS3, I noticed an increased sharpness with the titles, menu screens, and even with the gameplay. 3. Lastly, there is an increased sound quality with the HDMI cable. Switching back and forth from a component input from my high def cable box and from the hdmi input of the high def cable box, I can hear a louder, more pronounced, almost stereo quality coming from my tv speaker when using the HDMI input, that I don't get with the component input. (I currently don't have external speakers set up,) I see no reason to spend $50 to $100 for brand name cables when these do what they're supposed to for a fraction of the cost.

i should have bought this sooner. what a difference in picture quality on our hd tv. i work at an office store and this cable sells for $49.99. even with my discount and a coupon i couldn't get this great overstock deal. :)
