great for garmin nuvi for use on harleymotorcycle
We use it for our harley davidson touring bike. Works great for our Garmin Nuvi. A must if you have a GPS and like to travel on the bike.

Pretty good mount for gps
Very easy to mount with no tools required. If you want to move it from bike to bike, this will make that easy. The grip wasn't as tight as I would have liked so it slipped a little on rough roads. The problem may have been that I mounted it on the crossbar which is a smooth surface. You may want to wrap a little adhesive tape around the bar before you mount. That might prevent it from shifting a little as you ride. However, it did serve its purpose on a 20 mile bike trip enabling me to navigate through side streets and avoid the main highway.

The plastic could not withstand normal use.
used it once on my bike. It held for a bit. Then it became loose after some street bumps. Tried to tighten and the plastic holder fatigued as evidenced by the stress discoloration on the plastic clamp that holds the strap tight. If that plastic clamp was durable, perhaps made of metal, it would be a good design.

Good Find!!!
This works perfect for what I was looking for, we needed to find something that adjusted to handlebars on a scooter. The scooters handlebars are a little larger than a bicycle. The Zip Tye strap works perfect. Although we are not using this for a gps, we were able to connect our IPOD holder to the handlebar mount. Great Find!!!!!!!
