This thing works great.
The Garmin handlebar mount worked fantastic. I have tried different methods of attaching my GPS to the handlebar of my Harley. This worked great. We took a 1000 mile bike trip last weekend and used my GPS on this mount, it never moved. I wish I had found this sooner.

Bicycle GPS mount
The bicycle handlebar Garmin Nuvi mount that is shown in the picture on the website shows a wingnut that would allow the device to be mounted on the handlebar without tools. The mount that I received has 2 phillips type screws and requires a screwdriver to mount it. This is an issue for me because I want to use the mount on rental bikes when I travel, and TSA will not allow a screwdriver to be packed in my carry-on bag. I decided not to return the item because I can use it on my bike at home, but I will have to order another mount to be used when traveling. I am disappointed that the picture of the item on Overstock.com did not match the product that I received.

Handlebar mount a good choice
My drop bars are cluttered with horn lights etc, so I mounted it on the crossbar. It grips very tightly and doesn't rock this way or that. I also bought another product for this purpose, but this one is far superior because of its tight grip. You may need to install with a screwdriver, but that is really very easy with a phillips head screwdriver. I now enjoy the gps while cycling including seeing the speed that I am traveling. Makes navigating through neighborhoods with confusing streets very manageable.

Motorcycle Handlebar Nuvi Mount
The product image showed a thumb turn screw for adjustment/removal. The one that came did not and was equipped with two nut/bolt fasteners. I actually prefer the one I got, as I don't ever remove it, only the GPS unit. It also comes with two rubber liners that help adjust to a secure mount. My clip snaps firmly into the ball and has not had any hint of problems. It is a well designed, well made unit that I would buy again. It is also very well priced and makes it an easy add on for a motorcycle.
