fantastic even for audiophile
These speakers have great tone. Bass is respectable and you can always add a sub if you need more. I have speakers ranging from inexpensive bookshelf systems to Mackie studio monitors to QSC live audio monitors to B&W floor standing speakers. For the price ($160 - $200), these speakers are fantastic! The pointable tweeter is great since I had to put them high on a wall in our kitchen. They have great dispersion which means you can be anywhere in the room. Vocals & brass instruments are very transparent. These are a real treat to listen to.
