I was searching around for a good subwoofer in the $200-$300 range and let me say i got more than i expected! This sub outperforms the more expensive (389.99) Klipsch Sub-10 in my opinion!The sub packs a great bang for the buck and if anybody is interested this sub does work with receivers w/o the sub in jack. Its also smaller than i thought it would be which is great. Love how the heavy duty driver looks without the grille.Great bang for the buck! If you're looking for a powered subwoofer in this price range you won't go wrong with the BIC H100!

This sub is fantastic. I tried a Klipsch and a Polk. They don't even compare. I bought this with a little skeptism and I am delighted that I got it. It hits all the lows that the other two couldn't. It is awesome and highly recommended.

I shopped around for many weeks for the best value in a high-quality sub and this one does not disappoint! Better bass response in my opinion that the Klipsch sub12, and at more than $100.00 less! I listen to lots of organ music which is very heavy bass, and this unit is stunning. I'm hearing bass that I never heard before with my 12" three way floor standing speakers. Highly recommended! Don't pass this up!

So I was having problems with my 8inch powered sub for a little while and after searching for about 6 months. overstock had the best products for the specs and cost. so i went forward with this model. and yeah no problems. set up was how it should be and the sound is very clean and loud!!!. i turned down the bass on my fronts cause i just wanted to keep turning it up. yes it can handle it without reservation.it looks nice too the top of the beast has a smooth mirror like black finish hot!! so yeah buy it but only if you have a single family home.. common walls or close neighbors would not be in approval. oh the explosions via movies.. almost startled me

Believe all the great reviews folks. This mid-priced sub packs a punch. My whole family collectively dropped our jaws the first time we watched Polar Express with the addition of this sub. The train was in our house! It has also added a bit more to our gaming experience. After a bit of tuning with different sub placements I find it also quite good with music. I think a lot of the complaints about musical reproduction have more to do with placement/tuning than the sub itself.

I had a 10" KLH that lasted about 4 years. Burned up because it got too hot. THIS Sub is amazing. The case is beautiful and the base is awesome. I was looking into other subs, but for the price, this blows them all away. Many adjustments are on the back of the case. I did alot of research on this sub. My findings were that everyone was comparing it to a 1000.00 sub for about the same quality. Back to base...it produces somewhere around 28hz which is bowel shaking. You will not be disappointed!

You definitaly get a lot for the price. Sounds great even at low volume levels. I can't bottom this sub out. May sound a bit better with movies over just music - but it could be my set up as well.

After doing a few months research online I went with the Bic H-100. This sub is widely considered hands down the best sub anywhere close to this price point. You would have to spend $700-800 to get something that really outperforms this baby. I have a very nice home theater set-up and I get the most compliments on the sub. It performs well with music and is exceptional for movies. If you have less than $500 to spend on a sub look no further.

I normally do not like to purchase anything without actually testing the product but, I decided to try it after reading reviews on the BIC-H100. I am completely staisfied with the BIC-H100. This sub performs beyond my expections. Delivery was very efficient and hassel free.

For home use this powered sub is superb, I have it turned down most of the way and it still rocks the house. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this monster to anyone needing a really affordable home theater sub.

I just built an 18' x 11' home theater in my basement, and this sub fills that room with bass and then some. A great addition to the theater at a great price. It also looks quite attractive in the room. I'd definitely recommend this sub.

My search for the best "Bang 4 the Buck" subwoofer has finally come to a Very Happy Ending!!! After who knows how many hours spent on the net reading reveiws and scouring through audio forums and blogs I finally bit the bullet and orderd my H-100 sub with complete confidence in that I was going to receive a very well built, designed, and quality sounding sub to complete my 7.1 surround home theatre! I wouldn't consider my self an audiophle, but I am whole heartedly a passionate music fan with a love for clean, pure, and LOUD music!!! Let me say that this sub can seriously pound and shake the walls of your house with every rumble and every bass drum kick! Placement of the sub in the room is definetly key as will make a huge difference in the sound as well. This sub is a steal for under $300 bucks and to find one with better sound you would have to spend over twice as much! If your looking for a quality house rumbling sub that also looks as good as it sounds you need not look any farther...

Shipping was fast. I did a little research looking for a sub under $300 and bought this sub to replace a 10" JBL sub that 'hummed'. I am glad I did. This is a really nice ported sub. It has a nice Gloss Black finish and any feature you want (frequency cutoff, auto on switch, LFE or line level inputs). I am using the sub in a small 15x12 home theater. It is really impressive for movies.... it has a pretty low extension (sub 30 Hz) too. Blows the JBL sub out of the water.

I bought this sub based on reviews from a home theater forum without trying it out in person. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical but after hooking it up and calibrating it to my other speakers; I am truly amazed at the sound from this sub. It¿s a great sub for the money and it really makes watching movies a new experience.

The subwoofer arrived in great shape very quickly. Set up was not so smooth, I had a bad cable! A quick call to customer service, (late in the day Pacific TIme) resulted in a call back the next morning. Once we figured out what it was, and the correct setting on my Onkyo reciever, we had booming bass! I have it in the automatic mode, and it works great at low levels, high levels, and in between. I have tried all my sources with it, HDTV, DVD, CD, etc. and am completely satisfied.

I,m no audio expert,but was looking for a powersub at a decent price did some reserch on the net and found this one.Read some reviews not just from overstock.com but other sources and found this one might just work for my system.my living room is 18 ft by 15 ft and it rumbles the room hard when watching movies.Put it this way I LOVE it and my wife says its to loud (lol) so guys if your looking for a power sub for a medium sized room at a decent price this is it. Good luck and,i sure hope this helps.

This sub is great for home theater in a medium sized room. For the money it is among the top subs out there. Lots of low end for those action movies. For pure music applications the sub could be a tad cleaner. Its a small price to pay for the amount of output this sub can deliver. Overall this is a fantastic sub and will greatly improve your home theater experience.
