THIS IS THE BEST RADAR DETECTOR ON THE MARKET. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE MY FRIENDS AND I ALL OWN RADAR DETECTORS AND THEY HAVE ALL FAILED THEM. THIS INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO WHISTLER, UNIDEN, COBRA. MY FRIEND OWNS A VALENTINE ONE RADAR DETECTOR AND IT GOES OFF CONSTANTLY. RX65 YOU CAN TURN OFF X BAND AND OTHER ANNOYING FEATURES THAT SHOULD NOT EVEN BE PUT ON DETECTORS. WILL PROTECT YOU EVEN AT FAIRLY HIGH SPEEDS...IT HAS PAID FOR ITSELF MORE THAN 10 TIMES IN THE 2 YEARS I HAVE OWNED IT. I WOULD NEVER BUY A RADAR DETECTOR THAT WAS NOT THIS ONE. MY 2 BROTHERS, MY FATHER AND I ALL OWN THIS AND WOULD ALL AGREE THAT THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN KEEPING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AS OPPOSE TO INCREASES IN INSURANCE AND COURT FEES, ETC. DONT EVER BUY A RADAR DETECTOR THAT ISNT THIS ONE, OR YOU ARE WASTING MONEY!

I purchased the RX65 after being caught by Laser and ticketed with my Cobra ESD-9100 a month or so back. The Cobra had fallen off the windshield one too many times and I knew it was becoming suspect. I have not had the time to do any programming to the RX65, but right out of the box it was up and running and spotting KA radar at distances that I thought were incredible. Laser was getting picked up by this one where before my Cobra had not even made a sound. The mounting bracket is nice as well. Push one button and it slides on and off and locks in tight. No need to remove the suction cups, which is what made my Cobra fall so often in the past. So far so good, I would recommend for anyone if they can afford it upfront, but it has saved me from a couple hundred in tickets and points on my license.

Chose this unit, after comparing all the high end units, and reading reviews. Unit performs, as advertised, and is simple to setup and use.

Still getting used to it, but it definately works.

This product worked very well for me on a recent road trip. I was able to pick up the different bands being used very accurately, even laser. I passed folks stopped on both sides of the road that I picked up from a good distance away. I definately recommend the Beltronics Pro RX65.

This is the fourth detector I have owned in twenty five years, and it is by far the best. Not only does it give plenty of advance warning, it has actually detected police radar at oblique angles, like around bends or even side streets. The anti-falsing circuitry is superior; it screens and then auto mutes nuisance signals, like door openers. Be warned: This detector does not like heat. There is an annoying and frightening "Service Required" error message that will flash if any of the following occurs: The unit gets hot, i.e. by leaving it exposed in a locked car; The unit remains powered up for an extended period when the ignition is off. I have noticed on numerous forums that people have sent the unit back to Bel when this message appears. So far, I have had luck in powering it down and allowing it to cool off. I store it when not in use, and so far its been fine.

No problem,works great,easy to set and I like the features it has in tracking all types of Radar. bright screen which shows good in the daylight or can be darken for nigth time travel. Mute button on cord comes in handy when sound needs to go off in a flash.

I did some research before buying this unit, and on many of the boards where the real "geeks" hang out, this is one of the top three detectors to get. I used it side by side with the C**** it replaced for a couple days, and it was almost embarrassing how much quicker the BEL alerted while the C**** just sat there. And the BEL ignored most of the false alarm "hot spots" that I've come to recognize on my daily 50 minute commute. The unit is small, easy to mount and aim, and even comes with a swell aluminum case for when you're not using it. Definitely worth the money for me, as I probably pass about 4-6 state troopers every day on my back-n-forth commute... and while I don't drive excessively fast, on the back country roads it's easy to let my speed get away from me. The only downside - according to many on the boards - is if you don't buy from an "authorized dealer" (and O.com may not be one) the full warranty may not be honored by Beltronics. Otherwise, though - a great detector for a very good price.

This radar detector has already paid for itself after 2 wks and has taken a lot of stress out of driving! It is very easy to use and has worked great! I do like the voice that tells me what type of band wave are out there. It has not failed me yet!

After a lot of review on the best radar detector to buy, my fiance and I decided to go with this model. I haven't gotten a ticket since and we purchased our detectors 3 years ago! I love mine! Highly recommended.

For being one of the better radar detectors on the market mine is marginal at best. I think I got a lemon.

I bot the radar detector for myself after reading/following it for a year. It probably saved me several speeding tickets. I would highly recommend it.

mine only lasted 7 months and it quit working properly. a more important bit of information is that beltronics will not honor their one year warranty if you buy it from overstock. nothing against overstock, theyre great. however, beltronics, well, word to the wise, dont do it....

After two weeks and roughly 2,000 miles with the BEL RX65, I am completely satisfied with the detector. It has great sensitivity, yet does not emit false signals. I really appreciate the Automute function, and the display brightness settings (3 different levels of birghtness, plus a 'Dark' stealth setting). The unit has been a breeze to use, and was very easy to learn how to operate. 5 stars for the BEL RX65.

Most of the time. when the radar detects the presence of K, KA Band the officers are in my sight and I in theirs.

So far so good. Everything seems to look and sound good. I know where they are hiding prior to coming up on them.

GREAT DEVICE, HAS A VERY SENSITVE CITY BAND I PUT IT UP AGANIST MY 36O DEVICE AND IS QUICKER TO ALERT. PICKS UP FROM BEHIND TRACKING ABOUT A 1/4 MILE. PRICE IS A LITTLE STEEP STILL BUT OTHER SITE HAS IT FOR A LOT MORE SO I GUESS YOU CAN SAY IT IS AT GREAT SAVING.

Has actually saved me twice on interstate alone. Very dependable quality, well worth the money and saved money at that by buying at the O. Very fast shipping as always and all the quality you would expect from BellTronics. It's been a great pleasure.
