Disappointed
The camera didn't last long. Within just a few uses small screws starting falling out of it. One screw I couldn't get back in because it was under the fold out LCD hing. The most frustrating part was the sixth or seventh time we charged the camera is failed to come back on after the charge. We were using the camera when the battery died, we plugged it back up to charge and it hasn't worked since. I will steer clear of this manufacturer from now on.

FALLS SHORT ON THE SOUND!
PICTURE AND FEATURE WISE, FAIR. IF YOU'D ACTUALLY LIKE TO HEAR WHAT IS RECORDED, NOT LIKELY WITH THIS ONE... THAT INCLUDES THE VOICE RECORDER ALSO. NOTHING ABOVE A WHISPER. THE WEBCAM DRIVER IS NOT MADE TO RUN IN WINDOWS 7. YOU CAN TRANSFER FILES, BUT IT WILL NOT WORK AS A WEBCAM. HANDLING THE CAMERA IS TRICKY, DEFINATELY NOT FOR EVERYONE. IN ALL FAIRNESS, IT'S THE SOUND QUALITY, RATHER THE LACK THEREOF, THAT WILL WARRENT ME RETURNING THIS ITEM. THE OWNER'S MANUAL IS EASY ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND, BUT THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE SECTION PERTAINING TO PLAYBACK. YOU CAN ONLY SELECT WHICH FILE YOU WANT TO PLAYBACK BY USING THE TOUCH SCREEN, NOT THE SELECT BUTTON ON THE CAMERA. I'M DONE TRYING TO ADJUST THE VOLUME FOR BEST RECORDING, NO SETTING WORKS. YOU WILL GET THE SAME OLD WHISPER, EVEN AFTER TRANSFERRING TO PC.

alright
it was working fine and i found it fairly simple to use. the 2 memery card slot helped plenty, especially with the 16mp pictures taken. the writing of the actual picture to the card though was fairly slow. it might have been the type of cards i used and i understand 16mp pictures are rather large, i just hoped it would have been quicker. i dropped it, not even 2 feet high, and the zoom and picture capture button stopped working. i did not get the warranty, which is most definitely my fault, but it was only because i never had a problem with my previously owned cameras. i'm not going to get rid of it because i'm hoping i can get it fixed somewhere because it really is a nice video camera. as long as you do not drop this camera, it is a good buy, definitely!

this camcorder is all it is and more,real time features and it performs flawlessly tried it in all lighting and it works great only thing i have done was put a neck strap on it to keep it close at hand,i highly recommend this to anyone who wants a quality camcorder/camera withought the high price

Not for me
Too hard to unstand.For older persons. Too many things you have to do to get a good picture. I am 67 with one good hand,and would be my left. Righ has only two finger. Which make it hard for the thing that come with this.
