Bell and Howell 16 MP U-touch Night Vision Video Camera

I have played around with the camera a bit, but have yet to transfer the files to a computer so that I can burn it to a DVD to watch on tv. The camera came within the time frame expected. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, which is even better. This is the first video camera I've bought for myself, so I am very excited about how cool, cute, and compact it is. The memory is stored on scan disks just like my digital camera. This allows the camera to be a lot smaller and lighter and hence easier to hold and aim and not be shaky. I bought it primarily to use it for my paranormal investigations because of the night vision, but haven't had an investigation yet since getting the camera. I practiced using it outside in the dark, and the image was very clear and looked very good compared to the cameras I'm used to using that belong to my paranormal research group. The camera quality is HD, so the images are very clear. Like I said, I haven't used it a lot, but so far so good. It also came with a lithium battery, battery charger, and all the chords and plug-ins and a CD for the computer for transfering the data I suppose. I haven't done that yet.

This was my first video camera and it is just everything i wanted and more. the picture quality is great on the camera part of and in taking videos. The night vision works great its a lot of fun filming at night with my friends. i thought it would have a wider range on what it would see in the dark but can only see what is directly in its view point. i thought it would light up an entire room but it wont. there is a sound recorder on it too which i found a little random used it once and it works i just dont have much use for it. overall an awsome item and i wouldnt trade for any other video camera.

• Did the image onsite match the product? it did, i would of liked to see more images of the product oline but none were available.
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? yes it workd perfectly
• How is the quality of the product? excellent

I bought this camera for it's night vision which i have found to be very poor, if you are using this camera in low light it works well however in total darkness it doesn't work at all. I was also using night vision booster LEDs and it still did not work in total darkness.
