Good for an amateur -
I haven't had a great deal of time to play with this thing yet, but I was able to get a few shots in enough to give some input. Since I don't shoot for a living, I didn't want to drop a lot of money for a flash that won't get a ton of use, but I did want the option of shooting better manual pics. The recharge is a bit more lengthy than I would like, but that is to be expected with a less expensive product. The coverage is very good, and I have experienced nicer photos than before. Works very well for my intended purpose. I'm satisfied, and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No noticable defects
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Pretty sturdy, not too heavy, and easy to mount.

Flash for Sony Alpha DSLR Camera
This flash replaces a Sigma purchased a few years back-- teh Sigma also worked well, but I broke the base mount,a nd could not find a replacement at a reasonable cost. This flash equals/ exceeds the Sigma in capability and features, and at a more reasonable cost. This flash is fully featured and includes all features one would find on a professional or proprietary (Sony) product at a fraction of the cost.

Nice flash, nice price
I purchased this flash to use with my a100, mostly for club scenes and nighttime pics but also as a fill. I'm very satisfied with how well it synchronizes with the body and the auto focus light works very well. The quick release button is a nice feature. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. :)
