This is a very good cooling pad, it works great, it is strong and sturdy, , can be lifted up in the back for better cooling , and also to raise the laptop for viewing.

It's a little loud at startup but does exactly what it's supposed to do -- keeping my laptop cool. It's also lightweight and thin so I can carry it around with me easily. Nice design -- very simple and sleek.

Working with a laptop on your lap .,...it does get warm. The cooling pad is quiet and keeps the bottom of the lap top cooler than if it was flush on my lap. I take it everywhere I bring my laptop. It fits in the outside pocket of my laptop bag.

It arrived on time, was a present and liked very much.

I really do like the way it is angled which helps type on the laptop and also seems to help move a lot more air then the ones that just lay flat. The only thing of issue is the legs of the pad dig a little bit into your legs and that can hurt after a while but you can simply fold it up and all is good.

I like this peice of equipment. I like the fact that the fan is powered by your laptop via a USB cable. I also like the configuration of the unit because it allows air to flow underneath my laptop so even if I don't plug in the USB cable, my laptop is likekly to over heat. I only plug in the USB cable after I have been using the laptop for extended periods of time. The only draw back is the fan is quite loud.

This was a waste of money for the mac user, I plugged it in and the fan (which was missing a blade) did not work. Not to mention it is poorly designed.

This is a wonderful laptop cooler and even works on the small netbooks. Very light-weight, easy to use and most comfortable, I actually bought another one, like the first one so much.

This product works fantastically. It really does send cool air up and around each of the sides of your laptop. One tip: it seems to cool dramatically better with the stand upright underneath the cooling pad. Don't get stuff stuck in the pad's fan blades (located at the pad center). This will cause the unit to make noise and work less well. I've used it carelessly at times, and needed to use a few compressed air blasts to clean the blades. I sense that if this thing ever works at a sub-optimal level, the fault will be my own. This item is well-built, looks well-made, and is a good match for my uMBP. Stellar item. It even helped me use my previous laptop that was dying due to a busted fan, by cooling the hole unit. Impressive.

Very cool device. really does the trick and like how it runs off the laptop for energy.

I was really excited when I got the fan, because it was working very well. it was lightweight, fairly quiet, and did what it was supposed to do: keep my computer from overheating. I purchased it last week and it came within a day and I have been using it every day until today, exactly a week later when it stopped working. I usually used the laptop on my desk or on my lap, depending on where I was sitting, and today I realized that even with the cooling stand on my lap, my laptop felt very warm. My fan had altogether stopped working, because I think it got stuck on something on the inside of the stand. Also I had noticed that one of the fan blades was missing so that might have been what was blocking it. I was not careless with it at all. I am going to give it another try, because the product I received could have been faulty. The one nice thing about buying Belkin products is that they have lifetime warranties on all of their products. However, I would suggest investing in something that has a better chance of not falling apart.

I am the proud owner of a Dell netbook. I was having problems with overheating after a short amount of time. Enter my Belkin cooling pad... Cooled baby Dell' down immediately. Great price too. Don`t hesitate..

this cooling system is great its not loud at all keeps it cool and gives your laptop a little height so your eyes are not strained. and I got it the next day

This is a reasonably priced item that will save your laptop. My Dell XPS 1330 was overheating terribly due to using dual monitors. The protetion feature would bring my computer to a crawl and I would have to turn it off and wait for it to cool before turning it back on and resuming my work. This item keeps my computer cool enough that the processor fan never peaks to high-speed. It's quiet, light-weight, and very easily portable; it fits into my laptop bag easily. If you have a laptop and you find that it's getting very hot, this is the product for you!

It's a good product, but the fan sticks from time to time. Sometimes makes a loud noise when it starts up. Also, you must make sure that nothing gets caught in/on the fan blades. A little smaller than I had expected, but overall it works fine keeping the laptop cooler.

I am very pleased with this product. It is compact and light weight. Receipt was within 5 days of ordering. I am always pleased with Overstock.

i opened the item today and saw that the packaging looks as though it had been tampered with but other than that it SEEMS to be performing well. with that being said, i will keep the receipt in case an exchange needs to be made.

This is great at keeping the computer cool but the fan wants to growl loudly when I first turn it on. I have to smack it 5-10 times before it runs quietly.

This product is great for the cooling of my laptop. Light weight and easy to use.
