Belkin will replace the surge suppressor unit if it fails, but rarely will they honor the warranty on Connected Equipment because of a clause that allows them to determine, AT THEIR SOLE DISCRETION, that their unit was not at fault during a power interruption/surge. They recently dismissed my claim as "doubtful and disputed", and they refused to honor their "connected equipment warranty." They obviously don't stand behind their products nor their warranties.

This surge suppressor was exactly what I was looking for because it had a long cord, dark color, and a great price!

¿ re: Belkin Home/Office 8-Outlets Surge Suppressor We needed something to replace the 2 smaller units we were using that would also give us a couple of extra outlets for growth .....until we get around to going wireless in our home office! This surge suppressor, with the reputable Belkin name, filled the bill. It's sturdy and has plenty of room --even space to fit 2-4 transformers (the ones that always take up so much room and require additional power strips). It sounds dumb to say, perhaps, but it also looks good; and it has performed beautifully. A good price for a reliable item AND it's fly. What else do you need?

I needed a surge protector for my home entertainment system, and one with a few extra outlets. So far, no complaints. I can even plug my phone line and cable line into it for the most protection. I also like that the outlets are spaced out to accomodate large plugs. Oh, and the real plus is that it has a lifetime warranty and damage protection for your equipment!

Works well thus far! Just got it a month or so ago.
