Well, a screen protector is a screen protector, and that is what you get. However, this particular protector does not go all the way to the edges of the Galaxy S3. I was a bit disappointed when I realized this. It does cover the entire part of the glass that actually shows a picture (that you would be touching regularly) but there is at least 1-2 cm on each side that is not covered. It does not go all the way to the edge and therefore there is a gap in protection between where my case ends and the screen protector begins. I'd try another brand, personally.
