This does not work with the T1i - do not buy
This is the wrong battery for the Canon T1i - when I tried to put it in the camera it jammed and I almost broke the camera removing it, - the connector is slightly thicker that the Canon battery and the camera cannot read this. I nearly broke a $500 camera for a $10 savings on a battery, buy the Canon approved, grey market not worth it.
