My husband has so many books we could have our own library. Rather than adding to his 6 bookcases, I bought this Nook. I like the fact it can hold tons of books, I can lend many and they don't require additional bookcases. As a baby boomer, it is not difficult to read the font and is intuitive. Love it!!!

So much easier to use than the first edition...has WIFI capabilities. I was able to transfer all of my books from old Nook to my Nook Simple Touch! Very easy to register and and it was delivered within 3 days of ordering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought this instead of a Kindle. Can't buy any ebooks from B & N as they want a US address. Format won't match most of books in the UK, only place to buy easily is Tesco e-books. Wish I hadn't bought it? Yes

the only disappointment I had was that it did not come with an usb adapter to charge the nook, you'd think they could include it. my nook would not charge through my laptop . so i had to order one afterwards. apparently a lot of other people have had problems with this because there are tons of sites dedicated to this issue. but once i received my nook adapter it charged up in a few hours. i love it, it's easy to hold, i've gotten used to the touch screen and it is very easy on the eyes for reading. had no problems setting up wireless or downloading books, it's done super fast. I'm reading The Help, very good. They could have a better selction of books under $10.

I had and loved the older e-ink Nook but this one blows it out of the water in terms of weight, ergonomics, ease of use and battery life. The lighter weight, matte rubberized texture, slightly wider bezel and curved back make it easier to grip. The option of touch and hard page turn buttons make it easy to turn pages no matter how it's held. It's much easier to navigate with the touch screen. The battery on my old Nook would last for about 3-4 books - tops. Now the charge is down less than 20% after I've read 4-5 books. Things that would make it perfect for me: The shelving should be more streamlined and quicker and I'd like the ability to directly download Library books to the Nook via an Overdrive App instead of through Overdrive software and hooking the Nook up to the computer. Supposedly that feature is on it's way but I've yet to read any set date.

I love to read and this is the perfect e-reader for those of us who love to read books and like equipment that is simple to use. I was not looking for a tablet, just a good reader on which I could enjoy my books and this is it. I don't read magazines or any kind of publications like that, I just enjoy a good read with a good book and this product meets my needs perfectly. I like that it is easy to use and was exactly what I wanted, thanks to the great description offered.

I love it. I hace tried both kindlle and this one and I really like the nook.

The Simple Touch Nook is really nice. Easy to see. I like the fact that you can change the font and also the size.

I am very happy with this reader so far. The touch screen works very well and the battery lasts quite a while with the wifi turned off.
