I bought this after reading many reviews on the internet and found Overstock.com to have the best price on this unit. I have a 42 LCD TV and am running a Yamaha 863 receiver that can push inferior center channels to the brink.The Acoustech PL-26 has stood the test of 105+ clean watts per channel and sounds amazing. I have tried JBL, Bose, Polk......and this center channel is beautiful in every way: sound, looks, and size.I highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their existing center channel or to buy the right one the first time.........without breaking the bank!

Quality speaker. Looks great and sounds great. Even at louder volumes it sounds very tight, absolutely no distortion or rattling.

I read a few reviews prior to purchasing and was still skeptical. I am used to auditioning speakers personally rather than rely solely on others opinions. I matched it up with my Klipsch fronts and was not expecting it to sound as good as it does. Well here is my opinion this center speaker evened out the overall front stage without being harsh at reference levels. For the price I feel I get balanced performance without a big price tag. I recently purchased the Acoustech PL-66 surrounds to complete the game room system and am satisfied with the results.

This speaker will surprise you. Perfect sound! You will not regret buying this speaker. Very good for the price.

Better then expected, I almost got the larger one, but the pl26 Can handle lots of power and looks great, no need for the PL28 unless your really going to blow out a window when watching the news? unless you have a very very large room, then maybe get the pl28. its only used mostly for dialog anyway. movies and TV etc. Cant go wrong, wait for the sale !!!

Bought because of other reviews. My rating is avreage there decent but not above average. good enought not to return but if i herd them first i would not have bought it.

I have owned many different center channel speakers, (one being Bose). I have to give this speaker a BIG two thumbs Way Up. The tweeter horn in this speaker really makes a noticeable difference. Also let us not forget to mention the Excellent midrange and good base. More than I can say about the over priced, over rated Bose. For the money to sound ratio You could easily spend twice as much and get less quality. Truly this speaker is worth every penny. Oh BTW: just for the record I do Not work or sell Bic speakers nor do I work for Overstock. Try it, your like it....

Recently I was able to compare the BIC FH6 LCR and the BIC PL 26 side by side with a Yamaha RX-V467 5.1 receiver. There is no significant difference. They both sound outstanding. The PL 26 has a better looking cabinet with the gloss finish but costs quite a bit more. If you are more concerned with sound than looks, get the FH6 and save your money.

This speaker blows away my old Polk monitor series center. Dialogue is incredibly clear. It really reveals the importance of a good center speaker as the heart of any system.

The size of the product is bigger than what i am used to, but it is a horned tweeter which sounds great. The product is worth the money and sounds great. I also have the PL-200 sub which is amazing as well. I was initially going to go with klipsch but did some reading/research on the internet and a lot of people where going with these BIC America products and i am now currently in the process of changing out my old yamaha surround sound with these BIC products. Great product at a good price and cheaper than Klipsch.
