Great for any disabled who has to lay in bed.. It is great for me....I have to lay down sometime in bed and with that player help me to watch any DVD movies from the library I do notice it is now loud at all must be hard for people who cannot hear...i am hard of hearing so i used subtitle all the time.....

good picture quiet sound I bought this for my parents for the size of it, that is great. However the sound is not very loud, even at the highest setting. My parents are in their 90's and need more volume to be able to hear the movie. Otherwise a great portable dvd player for those who cannot get the tv dvd player to play due to the complicated settings needed. I plan to get some ear buds so that the sound will maybe be louder.
