from testing this unit it appears to be high quality. the only thing I would suggest is having a list of accessories needed in order to put it into real use. an antenna is needed and I'm not sure if we will need anything else. once we receive that we will see.

I intended to return this tv but waited too long. It will not scan all of the channels and will only work properly when tuned to channel 3 and hooked up to a cable box. The picture is ok but the speakers sound terrible and the volume does not go high enough. I have to turn the volume up to 100% on the tv and cable box before it is loud enough for me to hear. And I am not hearing impaired in any way.
There is no built-in antenna to receive the digital signal, so it is no good as a portable. It works ok in a fixed location with a cable hookup but it is very inconvenient to use compared to my old portable analog tv with a built-in antenna.

it is just a perfect fit for my small shelf. I needed a cable ready small TV and this fits the bill. The sound is a bit tin-like, but considering the size of the speakers it is just fine. I had a small ac/dc tv that had no connection for cable (over 30 years old) that I replaced with this one and I like it.
I have wanted a small flat screen TV for my kitchen for months but didn't want to pay the price. This little TV is perfect for my counter-top and allows me to watch the news with ease while cooking. The picture is clear, the sound is crisp and I love that it's so compact, yet modern and practical. Initially, I thought that the screen size might not be quite big enough, but it actually seems larger than 8" . Overall, I think this is a great product for the price.

I'm pretty hard to please, but this is a nice little TV. Picture quality will be good if you have cable or satellite. Not so good with rabbit ears. I'm using a converter box and picture is really quite good. Sound quality is VERY tinny. I hooked up a cheap set of computer speakers to the earphone jack and sound is much better. I haven't tried the battery power yet. All in all it's a good value.
