The AT-LP60-USB stereo turntable comes equipped with a USB output that allows direct connection to your computer. Turntable...like the "Good Ol' Days" Buy this you will not regret it. After receiving a stack of old records this was just the ticket to convert them to Mp3 format to play on my pc or mp3 player and put on CD for my Mom for a Christmas present. It is easy to operate and the software for conversion was easy to understand, i hate to read directions but it is so easy to understand. You can hook up to your system to just play your records with the included cables if thats all you want to do. love it! love it! On top of this being a great product it was so much fun listening to those oldies...even an old Elvis in Mono. Replacement needles can also be purchased at the company web site. Thanks Overstock......

LP-to-Digital Turntable I found LPs lost to a storm and needed a way to listen on CD player. This turntable was perfect. No problem using the software. Now I can search out other LPs in my lost set.

MP3 conversion is not an easy task In this day and age you'd expect a product with a USB output to be plug and play. This comes with a CD containing Audacity, and instructions on how to use the programme to convert the input to MP3. The unfortunate thing is that the version contained on the CD differs from the version used for the instructions. As a result I've not yet been able to translate the instructions provided into a set that work, but I'm pretty close after a couple of half hearted attempts. In the process of unpacking after a move, so I've not given it too hard a look or tried any other software yet. If you're not 100% comfortable with computers I'd completely avoid this product. If you are tech savvy and willing to put in some time screaming profanities at your computer it's worth considering. I've given a good rating to the product as it's pretty well put together. Only flaw is the lack of plug and play.
