Description

ATEN's new economy LCD KVM console, CL1000M, offers a space-saving, streamlined approach to IT environments by integrating a keyboard, 17" LCD monitor, and touchpad in a 1U Slideaway housing. The LCD display is built into the cover; the keyboard and touchpad are built into the base. Setup is fast and easy. There is no software to configure, no installation routines, and no incompatibility problems. Slide the console module section out; flip the cover up; and you are ready to go to work. When finished, flip the cover down and slide the console module away back into the rack. There is no better way to save time and money than with a CL1000M installation. Just connect the cable between CL1000M and a KVM or a computer, and the CL 1000M is ready to serve you.

    4 yrs ago, I bought a couple kvm consoles from ATEN and they are still rocking. Other brands stopped working after 6 months or less. So I bought 9 more units this model and here are what I found. They are not as good as the initial two units I bought. the two older ATEN kvm consoles were different model than these. 1. mouse was too slow in respond 2. the rail metal pieces are high that they touch the both wrists. it makes uncomfortable in typing. 3. the space bar is too small/short. other than these 3 issues, everything else work as expected. Oh! I also had one DOA but Overstock took care of that quickly. Very nice service from Overstock.com Very quick in getting a replacement. If I find anymore issues, I will come back and edit this entry.
