Ugh
My laptop at first seemed great, it ran quickly and still probably does if it still worked. Only two months after I bought it, it stopped charging. I replaced the charger with another official ASUS charger, and it still doesn't work. I replaced the battery and still nothing. The laptop only comes with a 30 day warranty now I have to either buy a new one and somehow recover everything I had or spend ***$+ on repairing it.

Review of Asus refurb laptop
The keyboard continues to pop up and is not well connected to frame. There appears to be some bug with the operating system that was loaded as some standard programs are non-opperable and the ultimate result will likely be that I will need to completely reload the operating system and applications. I will also need to probably replace the keyboard.

Runs Ubuntu like a champ
You had to make your back up disks yourself. initially it wanted 8 dvd's but if you uninstalled everything unneeded it only took 4. Installed ubuntu runs like a champ, keep windows on a small partition Asus bios update only runs on windows. Ubuntu installed all drivers with no issue and the USB 3 rocks.
