I had donated all my old routers to a charity thrift store. Then we had 2 very close lightening strikes within 3 weeks of each other. We had TVs and routers fried by the surge. So I had to buy yet another router. I like the look of this, how easy it was to set up, and it's very light. The blue lights are cool but very bright at night. I just turned it to face the wall on my desk to lessen the effect.Read More

The Asus RT-N53 router is fantastic. We had a little trouble hooking it up at first (because we also have our home phone running on the cable line with a seperate modem) , but customer service was a pleasure to talk to and gave all the step by step info we needed to get us on the right path. All we can say is : super fast! no hickups or dropped streams.....buy it, definately worth it!Read More
This product does NOT meet requirements for *******/******* *high tier** broadband speeds. Ping rate was about 26, when our prior netgear router was in the 80s. We should be seeing rates higher than the Netgear and we had hoped this would be better, based on the reviews and the mfg description...this is REALLY inadequate. If you have the lower priced/lower speed broadband, you probably can get away with this inexpensive wireless router, but if you are paying for the super high speeds, this is absolutely not an option.Read More
