This is rated as one of the best routers on many sites, and it did not disappoint. We use both freqs that the router provides. 5Ghz upstairs where the router is and then 2.4GHz downstairs and it works perfectly. Plus once 802.11ac comes online we'll be ready for the speed that having this router will provide. Definitely recommend.

Unit looked great and after setting the unit up, signals were great throughout the house. In less than an hour the signal just disappeared, forcing to re-boot constantly to connect. Tried various firmwares, beta ones, had inSSIDER and Merlin, highly tech savvy wifi indivuduals tell me not to throw the darn thing at a wall; wasted my entire weekend! Bought a Cisco/Linksys at Staples, setup took 10 minutes and running perfectly. Google this unit with signal drops and crashing before you buy...
While it's true this router is fast as can be, it is still pretty expensive for what it is. I'm not sure if my home network needed this much power. It is really really easy to set up out of the box and I commend them for that. It's also a fairly attractive router (despite the antennae). My one gripe is that one of the Antennae was cracked upon arrival. I'm sure it's an easy fix and it's more of a cosmetic thing, but you would think for the price they would be able to condense the antennae system into the body (cellphones can do it/other routers can do it for 200 bucks why can't you?!). Either way my network is solid, easy to connect to and reliable so I can't gripe too much/just angry at myself that I paid this much for something I probably don't need.
