Bought this item and received what looked like a NEW Unit ONLY PROBLEM is that the battery and power supply was not in the box so I called Overstock to let them know and after 5-6 emails and 3 weeks they told me to contact ASUS. ASUS decided to say they would send the needed items but then a week later they changed there mind and said I need to but the items because Refurbished items may not come with all the parts and accessorizes, they even refused to contact Overstock to confirm that the laptop was to have both items. I has taken me a little over a month but Overstock got more of these in and has swapped out my laptop for one with all the parts. And I sit here and wonder if saving the cash was worth the grief. After all what if they didn't get more in then what? It was past the 30 day return date.

I ordered this refurbished Asus laptop because my demands for mobile computing are not great, but it has proven to be a very good 'work horse'...and i like the feel and look of it...if it holds up for a long time, then it will get not just 5 stars but all gold stars...very happy with this purchase, thank you Overstock.

Excellent quality laptop
Although I have not yet used this laptop extensively for a large variety of tasks, I am impressed with the apparent high-quality construction and features (including wi-fi). I'm finding it comfortable and easy to use.

Just OK
I got this for my son for school. It did not have the Windows program installed. He had to call for tech support and was barely able to understand what the guy was saying. It took 45 minutes to get program installed. My son says its doing OK for now and he had to install other programs to get it to work for school.
