I purchased this product and gave it to my granddaughter to have when she starts college. She just loves it without any problems so far but has basically used only for home, email, etc., but college is very soon and she is excited to have this laptop. I am so glad I bought it for her, and in fact, I wish I had purchased 2 one for her and one for me. My granddaughter lives in Ohio.

great product for the money, would buy another one, worked right out of the box

I've only used it for a couple of weeks, but so far, this laptop is great. I had some problems figuring out how to enable the wireless adapter (it came disabled), but since then I've had nothing but fun with this thing. It's got plenty of power to do most tasks and the price was probably about half of a new one. The 100 GB hard drive, while smallish by today's standards, is nice sized for a refurb. I also was happy that it had Windows XP as I'm not yet ready to jump to Windows 7 or Vista.

The laptop was refurbished and the company that did the refurbishing did a great job. The laptop looked beand new and came with an XP professional license AND and Vista license. The laptop was very clean and was ready to go out of the box. The OS installation was complete with the usual free applications installed (Java, Adobe, all drivers) and could have been run fine out of the box. I did get a bad battery and power supply, but Overstock's customer support gave me new ones very quickly and they worked fine. Would have given it a 5 out of 5 if I would have had the 20% off coupon before ordering. I will definitely order more of these.
