I bought this to help protect the surface of my desk AND to use with my mouse. It's a nice large size that functions both ways; Well, I've had a few that I didn't like. This one will replaced by the same kind when the time comes. If you like a larger pad, you will not be disappointed and you will probably know with the first use that you'll be using this pad and others like it for a long time. Smells like a fragrance when you take it out of the box, but the smell was gone within an hour or so.

I like to sell things that I use and this is one of my favorites. Selling online leaves me on a computer many hours per day and I like to work and watch the news so a laptop is what I use on the couch. I have purchased many different laptop pads and cooling units to use but most of them are to small and slide around or tip off your lap to easily. This one stays put if you move around a bit and takes a lot to make it fall off your lap even if you fall asleep.
