Arrowmounts Tilting Wall 32 to 52-inch TV Mount

Let me start by saying that I looked since January '11 for a wall mount and just refused to pay the ridiculous amount of money the stores wanted for them. I was amazed to find one at this price!! EASY to install, sturdy, and my TV has never looked better!!

Note that these comments and observations are during an evaluation of the bracket's suitability before mounting it to the wall. Bracket has been attached to the back of the TV but the mounting plate has not been attached to the wall yet. The position locking devices (T-handles) are inaccessible with your hands unless mount is at full tilted position. And the safety screws at the bottom of the mounting brackets must be adjusted (screwdriver required) when the tilting angle is changed and appear to be completely inaccessible in the tilted position. TV mounting hole pattern does not use the VESA spacing standard. Product description didn't mention VESA, I just assumed and you know what that means. No holes are on the common 400mm spacing. I had to use slotted holes for the top and bottom mounting screws. The TV mounting screws provided are the wrong length for my TV (55" Samsung). The TV has a flat back surface but its screw mounting holes are recessed about 1/4" so the screws provided for mounting the brackets right against the TV are too short and the longer screws for using the spacers are too long. The fault goes to the TV but this is just a warning to others. Overall I have never been more disappointed in a product. It will be returned.

This was a good product by itself but the price from Overstock sent it over the edge. Excellent bargain. The mount was easy to install....the cabling and electrical was another story. Once installed I felt very comfortable hanging a high dollar TV from it. It seems plenty sturdy. I put it in my mother-in-laws bedroom for her, so if there are any issues I'm sure I'll hear about it.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Had several mounting fixtures to mount it various ways. That made it very nice and saved trips to the hardware store.
