I must admit that I was a little skeptical of this mount, but when I installed it, I was sold completely. My wife and I installed this in about an hour or so. We have a drop/acoustical ceiling in our basement with about a 16 inch drop from the framing to the ceiling. This mount allowed us to drop our projector to a height just under the ceiling tile which was perfect for our viewing distance. I can't imagine needing anything more than this mount. Great buy for the money!

This projector mount is of bery good quality. Initially I was apprehensive due to low price but when it came it was a bang. It can accomodate upto more than 18" of drop ceiling. Same kind of projector mount will cost around 70 bucks. go for it.
