Flat wall
Back plate arms have various screw positions to fit with my TV. Very solid, perfect for my den, flat to the wall.

unsatisfied
This product was poorly packaged and didn't have the accurate screws...plus my husband had to modify it to fit my 32 inch tv....had to do a lot of adjustments... I frequently purchase things from this Overstock and have been very satisfied with most products.... Not this one....

Solid Mount
I bought this mount because I was looking for a cheap tv mount that was able to tilt. I wanted to mount a 32'' lcd tv and purchased this item thinking it would do the job. First thing i noticed is on the box it says the maximum size tv it will hold is only 32'', not the 37'' that overstock claims. After i began installation, the holes for the screws did not match up with the back of my tv. I just used a very large washer to get just to the edge of the mount. After mounting the tv, looks very solid and doesn't move at all even after applying some force. Great item. You just may need to improvise.

overall good could be lower profile but with a low price good for a tilting mount, and easy to install
