I used this to mount an ACER X1261P to the ceiling. It did not have the required screws to attach the Acer to the mount, I had to pull screws from a different make and model of projector mount. The addition of two down connectors (poles) was nice, I needed the longer one since I was mounting to floor joists above a drop ceiling, and needed to drop the projector below the finished ceiling. The mounts description says that it could shift the projector from side to side, but that feature is not available on this unit. The mounting design is not quite as good as other mounts I have used as the adjustment options are not sufficient to install the mount at the projector center of gravity, although I got pretty close. This makes the projector want to drift in alignment, unless you tighten the adjustment nuts down well, which makes it harder to adjust. The adjustment design is friction based, you have to set the friction of the mount adjustment motion before you install the mount, and then adjust the mount once you have the projector mounted on it; it is not possible to tighten the adjustment securely once you have it adjusted, so it can get knocked out of alignment easily if bumped. The manual left a lot to be desired, quite a bit of inference is needed to fill in the gaps not covered concerning installation and adjustment. This was the cheapest projector mount I could find, and I found it a fair value.
