good product

good product, sturdy and easy to mount. The only thing that we think is a draw back is that it does not rotate horizontally.

Great Value
 Jan 3, 2011

When I saw the same mounts selling for *** and up in stores, I was ready to make my own from Materials at the hardware store. I found this and it was a great value. I cut down the rear bracket when I mounted my 32" (so I didn't have to see extra metal when I walked by. My 52" LG didn't fit exactly, so I made an adapter/spacer from wood to make it fit nicely. Not an exact fit on every TV, but not worth the hassle of returning and getting the *** mount. Installation skill level is moderate if it's a good fit. If it's not an exact fit, it's still not that hard to make it work.

TV Mount
from Ann Arbor, MI,  Dec 25, 2010

The product it self was very good. However, the bolts to mount the unit in concrete, are very cheap and two of them broke with little pressure. I would recommend you buy better bolts for this application. Other than that, the product was easy to install and fit perfect with my LED Vizio TV.

good value
 from Franklin,TN,  Dec 23, 2010

I used this wall mount for a 32" tv. It would be hidden more with a larger tv, but it is what I expected.Very well made ,nothing flimsy here. They give you enough anchors to mount on just about any type surface. Price is less than some units that don't tilt.

easy enough but has a gotcha
from layton, ut,  Dec 21, 2010

The product came with bolts and hardware for many configurations and many televisions. There is plenty of flexibility to find studs to attach to the wall, and mounting the tv is straightforward. The instructions were simple enough, yet missed a critical piece of information: the mount is NOT vertically centered onto the television. I calculated the location of my tv assuming everything would be centered and later found that the mount sits 2-3 inches lower than expected. My tv now sits 2-3 inches lower than I wanted. I would have expected that little detail to be in big bold huge letters in the installation instructions.

Arrow AWM4 Tilt Wall Mount for 32 to 50 inch Flat
from courtland, va,  Dec 19, 2010

The product arrived quick. However, the mount was to large for the back of my tv (samsung 32"). The holes did not match up with ones on the tv.

Great Mount!
 from Chicago,  Dec 14, 2010

Worked great on our Toshiba plasma tv! Nice and sturdy, and works well! Took about an hour for us to figure it out, but it holds our 106 pound tv very nicely.

tv mount
from columbia sc,  Oct 26, 2010

It worked perfect for my application. I would definatly advise to get the bigger mount capability for the tv you are installing. Better to go bigger than right at the weight limit.

We researched tv wall mounts and found Overstock to have the best prices. It looks great above our fireplace. We love the tilt feature.

Solid and Simple
from New York, NY,  Jan 27, 2010

Pros: Good price for an item that's usually sold way overpriced; comes with a generous assortment of bolts, screws and walll anchors to match your TV and wall; simple and sturdy design Cons: It can be tricky to fit the vertical supports mounted on the back of the TV into the horizontal wall bracket--had to bend some steel with pliers to get a good fit. It's still a little wide for my 32" Sony TV, and you can easily see the wall bracket from the side. The wall mount is only invisible when you stand directly in front of the TV. Bottom line: Not the best design (see fitting issues above) and a bit too wide for 32" TVs, but a good value for the money.

Do not buy this product! None of the holes match up and it is not a universal Mount! We had to drill new holes into the frame. Complete waste of money.

Great value & easy install
from Chicago suburb,  Aug 4, 2008

I recently bought a 50" plasma TV at Big box store (on sale$997.00) & was originally going to have them mount it on the wall. I just couldn't see paying an additional $300 to have them do that so I convinced my wife to let me attempt to do it myself. It really could not be easier. You just have to be sure you hit the center of the studs. You get all the hardware you'll need for mounting in just about any type of wall. I had researched many different mounts & this one had all the features I was looking for. I really like the fact that you don't need tools to lock the TV into the mounting bracket, you just tighten the thumbscrews. The price was another inducement. I will probably be purchasing another flat panel in the near future & would not hesitate to purchase this mount again.

painful to install
 from wyoming,  Jul 25, 2008

this was so painful to install. not one hole lined up with either my tv or any studs. also one of the rivets on the arm was broken. by the time this was discovered, my husband (who is very handy) had already spent 45 mins drilling new holes into the frame. THIS IS NOT UNIVERSAL. universally disappointing, yes. do not get reeled in by the price and supposed universal mounting system. don't buy this. please spare yourself and buy something else.

Very hard to set up
from Austin, TX,  Jun 8, 2008

I read the other reviews before buying this product, but had no idea how hard the set-up would be. As others, I had to drill holes in the bracket to make it fit my Toshiba TV. But I had to drill them so close to another part of the bracket that the screw wouldn't go in straight. So I had to actually grind down the heads of the screws to get them to fit! Then, to my shock, I found that the holes in the wall plate wouldn't fit the brackets I had finally gotten attached to the back of my TV, so I spent HOURS drilling holes in the wall plate and filing them down to get the hooks to fit in just right. ALSO... the directions were nearly incomprehensible. It mentions "knobs" (there are none), and it took me a long time to figure out how the thing works. Long story short... it's a great value, and if the brackets happen to match your TV you're in luck. I've got the TV up and it works great, but it sure was a lot more involved than I thought it would be. The engineers got all of the hard things right, but the easy things screwed up.

Great product
 from oklahoma,  Apr 14, 2008

The instructions were not written by a technical writter and that was such a blessing. The told me and showed me what I needed to know and unlike some instruction these days didn't give me a complete rundown on how they made the product. I will surely purchase this product again, when and if I need this type of product.

Not bad, but has limits
from Eastern Shore,  Feb 17, 2008

The sub $50 price and easy tilt feature are what drew me to this mount. When I opened the box, the frame was bent slightly. Not a big problem to fix with a few taps from a hammer and 2x4. It could be just my TV (Element 32") but there was not a single set of holes in the back that fit the mounting holes in the back of the TV. I had to drill 2 more holes to fit the TV. Again, not a real big deal on the drill press. Mount is not as flush as I'd like, but leave the spacers out (not needed) and it gets better. If you have a 32" TV, keep in mind that the rear frame is about 31" wide -- from the side it's easy to see, but not while actually watching the TV
